Customisation at Batelipack covers six decisions: fabric, hardware, logo method, colour, structure and packing. Each one is quoted separately so you can see what a change costs before you approve it. Sample rounds take 7–15 days, and the specification approved at sampling is the specification that runs in bulk in our own workshop.
1. Fabric and lining
- 600D and 900D Oxford polyester — the standard workhorse for school, promotional and business backpacks
- Polyester and nylon in various deniers, plain or ripstop
- Canvas (cotton and blended) for a natural, retail-focused look
- PU and PU-coated fabrics for water resistance and easy cleaning
- RPET recycled fabric for brands with a sustainability requirement — say so at enquiry stage, because it affects cost and lead time
- Lining options: 210D polyester, satin, taffeta and custom-printed lining
2. Hardware and trim
- Zippers — standard nylon coil, resin, or branded metal zippers where the brand allows it
- Buckles, D-rings, adjusters and shoulder-strap hardware in plastic or metal finish
- Padded, ventilated or ergonomic shoulder straps and back panels
- Custom pullers, metal tags and logo plates
- Reflective strips and safety piping
3. Logo and branding methods
- Embroidery — the most common choice for business, school and gift backpacks; strong on canvas, Oxford and fleece-backed panels
- Silk-screen print — best for flat, high-contrast logos and large coverage on smooth fabric
- Heat transfer and silicone print — fine detail, gradients and small multi-colour marks
- Woven labels and rubber or metal badges — a premium finish for retail-facing brands
- Debossing and embossing on PU and leather-look panels
- Custom zipper pullers, lining print, hangtags and woven neck labels for a fully branded product
All logo work is done in our own workshop, which keeps the approved logo position identical from sample to bulk.
4. Colour
Solid colours, two-tone panels, contrast piping and colour-matched hardware. If you have a Pantone or a colour reference, send it with the enquiry so colour matching can be handled at sample stage rather than after production starts.
5. Structure and function options
- Padded laptop compartments sized to 13″, 15.6″ or 17″ devices
- USB or USB-C charging port with internal cable routing
- Anti-theft designs: hidden zippers, back panel pocket, lockable sliders
- Insulated cooler compartments for food and drink delivery
- Trolley strap for cabin luggage, plus expandable side gussets
- Bottle pockets, key clips, organiser panels and tablet sleeves
- Hydration-tube openings and mesh pockets for outdoor models
6. Packing and delivery format
Polybag, hangtag, barcode sticker, gift box or retail-ready carton printed to your artwork; mixed-carton packing on request; flat-packing and carton marks set to your forwarder’s requirements.
