MOQ: 100 pcs Per Style and Colour
Our MOQ is 100 pcs per style and colour combination. The unit that matters is the pair. 100 pcs of one style in black and 100 pcs of the same style in navy are two minimums, not one order of 200. The same logic applies to logo variations when the method changes the construction or the panel — a woven label and an embroidered logo on the same bag are normally one style; a different fabric colourway is a new combination.
What that means in practice:
- Splitting colours: each colourway carries its own 100-pc minimum. Three colours of one style means 300 pcs, not 100 pcs spread across three.
- Splitting sizes: size ratios are agreed per style and colour at order confirmation so cutting and packing stay consistent.
- Consolidating a first order: you can place one order covering several styles, but each style and colour still has to reach 100 pcs. Consolidating does not pool units into a single minimum.
- Reorders: once a style has been produced, patterns, cutting data and the approved sample are already on file, so a reorder moves straight into scheduling.

Samples: 7-15 Days, What to Send, What You Get
Sampling takes 7-15 days from the point we have everything we need. Sample rounds are how construction is confirmed before any bulk material is cut.
To start a sample, send:
- A tech pack, or a reference sample with the changes marked. If you have neither, dimensioned drawings work as a starting point.
- Artwork files for the chosen logo method, sized and positioned as you need them.
- Fabric and hardware preferences — weight, finish, coating, zips, buckles, webbing.
- Target dimensions, compartment layout and any internal structure requirements.
You receive a physical sample built to that specification. Review it, mark corrections, and we run revision rounds until it is right. Bulk production starts only after written sample approval — no exceptions, because the approved sample is the reference we build and inspect against. Logo and branding
Five logo methods are available, and the right one depends on artwork detail, fabric surface and target cost:
- Embroidery — dense, thread-friendly marks on woven panels.
- Silk-screen — flat, high-coverage prints on smooth surfaces.
- Heat transfer — fine detail and multi-colour artwork.
- Woven label — a sewn-in brand mark, common on technical and outdoor bags.
- Metal or rubber badge — a raised, hard-wearing logo for premium positioning.
Send vector artwork or a high-resolution file, plus placement position, size in millimetres and colour references. Artwork travels with the sample, so the approved sample and the artwork file stay linked through production.
OEM and ODM
OEM means we build to your specification — your dimensions, compartments, fabric, hardware and branding. ODM means we start from an existing construction and adapt it: change fabric, add or remove a compartment, apply your logo and packaging. ODM is usually the faster route to a first order because the pattern and structure are already proven in production. OEM gives full control over the finished product but adds development time before bulk. Both are handled in-house at our 2,600 m2 plant in Baigou, where 18 production lines run.

Payment and Quotation: How a Quote Is Built
We do not publish per-piece prices. A backpack price is the sum of several variables, and quoting a number before they are fixed would be guesswork. Cost depends on fabric, structure, logo method, packaging and order volume at or above 100 pcs per style and colour combination.

From inquiry to order confirmation
The sequence is straightforward: inquiry and specification review, written quotation, sample against the quoted specification, written sample approval, then order confirmation. Payment and shipping terms are set out in the quotation and order confirmation. Nothing is treated as agreed until it appears in writing on those documents. Quality Control and Compliance: AQL 2.5 / 4.0, ISO 9001, BSCI
Quality control is in-house and runs in four stages, from incoming fabric to final packing. No stage is handed to an outside workshop.
- Incoming material inspection — fabric, zips, webbing, buckles, lining and logo components.
- In-line inspection during cutting, sewing and assembly.
- Pre-shipment inspection against the approved sample and confirmed specification.
- Final packing check — cartons, labelling, hangtags and quantities.
Pre-shipment inspection follows AQL 2.5 for major defects and AQL 4.0 for minor defects, with a defect rate under 1.5%. If a lot falls outside the agreed specification, the inspection record and the approved sample define what happened and what is owed. That documentation is the basis for any claim, which is why we do not skip either step.
Compliance and audit coverage
Our compliance file covers ISO 9001, BSCI audited status, CE, FDA, REACH, CPSIA, OEKO-TEX and an SGS factory audit. Buyers importing for retail, Amazon or EU and US markets typically request the ISO 9001 certificate, the BSCI audit record, the SGS factory audit report and material test reports relevant to their product and destination — REACH and OEKO-TEX for the EU, CPSIA for the US, CE and FDA where the item or its market calls for them. Production Lead Times and Shipping
Lead times at Bateli are counted from the moment the details are fixed, not from the date of first contact. Sampling runs 7–15 days and is counted before bulk. Once the sample is approved in writing, standard bulk production runs 30–45 days. Fully custom OEM orders — where fabric, structure, hardware or packaging are built from scratch — run 30–60 days. A first order usually lands at the longer end of a range; a repeat order on an unchanged style lands at the shorter end.

What Moves a Date
Four things push a completion date, and most of them sit on the buyer’s side of the table:
- Artwork approval. Logo files for embroidery, silk-screen, heat transfer, woven labels or metal and rubber badges must be final before the logo line is set. Late artwork holds the line.
- Sample sign-off. Bulk does not start without written approval. Every revision round adds time.
- Custom fabric or hardware. Non-standard material, custom zipper pullers or a new structure require sourcing and testing before cutting begins. See customization options for what counts as standard versus new.
- Peak season. Capacity across 18 production lines is shared. Orders placed well ahead of a retail or back-to-school window get scheduled more freely.
What We Need Before Shipping
Export packing and documentation are built around your instructions, so send them with the order rather than after production:
- Destination port or address, and whether goods move by sea, air or courier.
- Shipping marks, carton labelling, and any barcode or retail-ready packing requirement.
- Inner packing method — polybag, hangtag placement, folding standard — and carton quantity per style and colour.
- Documents required at destination: commercial invoice, packing list, and certification copies where relevant (see quality control and testing).

After-Sales, Reorders and Next Steps
Every order ships against an approved sample and a pre-shipment inspection record. If delivered units fall outside the agreed specification, the claim is assessed against those two documents: the approved sample for construction, materials, logo and measurements, and the inspection record for the AQL 2.5 major / 4.0 minor result taken before shipment. Send the claim with photographs, carton and style references, and the quantity affected. Where a deviation is confirmed, we resolve it directly with the buyer — replacement units in a following production run or another agreed remedy, documented in writing.
Reorders
Once a style has been produced, its specification, artwork, patterns and packing standard are already on file. A reorder on an unchanged style skips sampling and re-enters the bulk schedule at 30–45 days, which is why repeat ordering is the fastest route to a stable supply line. If you change fabric, colour, logo method or packaging, treat it as a new sample round of 7–15 days before bulk.
